Accessibility

Our standard

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is a floor, not a target.

• Every colour pairing used for text is contrast-verified. Champagne gold is never used for body copy on a light ground, because it measures 1.67:1 and fails.
• Every interactive element has a visible focus ring at 2px with an offset.
• Drawers and dialogs trap focus, close on Escape, and return focus where it came from.
• Carousels are real scroll containers, operable by keyboard and trackpad, never JavaScript-only.
• Prefers-reduced-motion disables smooth scrolling, scroll reveals, parallax and the foil sweep. No content is ever hidden behind an animation.
• Touch targets are at least 44 by 44 CSS pixels.

Known limitations

The site ships in English only. The layout is built so that a right-to-left Arabic locale can be added without restructuring, but that locale does not exist yet.

Product photography is described in alt text written per image. Some of our detail shots are upscaled from lower-resolution source material and are softer than we would like at full-screen zoom.
